Respond to cyber-attacks in real time
As a Senior Security Incident Responder, you'll engage in customer's network and Cyber Attack-related events. As frontline defense, you will own central alerting system, detecting and assessing the impact of attacks. The role will reside in an environment that is fast-paced with constant involvement in critical attack fighting
As a Security Incident Responder II, you will be responsible for:
- Being the first line availability for customer to respond to issues for their managed security services
- Monitoring internal infrastructure and customer events on their systems
- Responding to customer incident tickets and internal routing while ensuring effective assignment of tasks to internal teams
- Following workflow procedures of an operations center in a large global environment
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Show experience in a customer-facing role
- Be familiar with the Internet, including technologies and fundamental protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP and HTTP
- Have some networking and Linux knowledge
- Have an ability to analyse, prioritise and escalate customer security attacks and engage with appropriate internal stakeholders
- Demonstrate interest in cybersecurity and basic knowledge about common security threats
- Display great collaboration and communication skills with fluency in the English language
- Be able to work night shifts - 4 days per week for 10 hours.
